The news is a couple of days old now, but it is nonetheless exciting: the retirement of Cardinal Arinze has been accepted by the Holy Father, and Cardinal Antonio Cañizares Llovera, Archbishop of Toledo and Primate of Spain, has been named as his successor as Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments. If one can judge by the vestments that a Cardinal wears, the sacred Liturgy would appear to be in good hands.
