Safe Arrival

Lisa and the kids made it safely back to Austria after their two packed weeks Stateside. After the relatively short drive to our new home in Trumau all three of them are fast asleep. Hopefully the jet lag wears off quickly, though, as Peter and Sara are arriving from Rome in less than four hours.

We still have no kitchen, but I did find a refrigerator, so at least the beer is cold!

Thanks for letting us know. They are all amazing! Remember, next year the beer will be waiting for you also.

Having conducted the experiment, I think we can now definitively state that although Austria is fine, your family belongs in Michigan. In the Lower Peninsula. Ingham County, in fact. Lansing, in fact.

Yeh John-
Has Pete and Sara actually arrived? Tell them Mom would like to hear a little about their adventures and to send us an e-mail.

So, enough time has passed. To whom do I complain about the mis-spelled synonym for "icebox"?

You may complain to me, his teacher grades k through 12... John, there is no "d" in refrigerator! On the other hand, as long as the beer is cold, who cares?

Big Daddy:
I TOLD John it was spelled wrong!

Busha,
I TOLD Peter to email you!

Sometimes it seems like no one listens. Ah well. At least I have a great beer in my hand.

So Peter-
Have you listened to my daughter-in-law and contacted your parents yet?!

Judging from the inactivity of this blog, it would seem that Pete and John influence each other poorly; they cause each other to go MIA. Can't say I'm surprised.
