Florence

We awoke at 4:00 in the morning in order to make it to the airport in good time, and then after saying good-bye to Lisa, Maria, and Thomas (which is awful, by the way, I don't know how you grandparents manage it) I came back to Trumau to meet Henri and we began the long drive to Florence. It's an 8 hour drive from Trumau, and we pulled in about two hours before my train for Spoleto left (whence I would be picked up by Bryan and Kilty and driven on to Norcia).

That just gave us time to walk into the center, up onto the Ponte Vecchio, past the Uffizi Museums and the David replica, and then into the incredible Duomo. I left my camera in the car, so the picture is from a postcard, not from me flying.
