Well, the pope has wung his way back to your neck of the woods. I saw the first part of the Mass celebrated at the Shrine of St. Babe, through the English half of his sermon, which was very fine. Bill Hurth did a better job with the first reading Sunday morning at Resurrection than I saw on TV, though. I guess I should be gratified that so many of our MSM recognized what a gracious, personable fellow Pope Benedict is. Instead of being irritated that they were so willing to ascribe cold-heartedness to him based on their own pre-conceived notions of what an orthodox German Catholic must be like. Viva, papa!
