Well, of course you know that this is where our son John Isaac got his name. Sometime when you're back on-continent, I heartily recommend visiting the shrine, and the restored mission, up on Georgian Bay.

But I thought their feast day was October 19?

That would be the difference between old and new liturgical calendars, of course. Although, in fact, I've read that Canada still keeps the feast on Sep. 26.
